We sell them at discounted prices to members at the Board of Managers meeting and to the DAR at their conferences. We have raised almost $1,700 to date which will be reflected in changes in the Education Program in the next 12 months
Biography
Terry Edward Pyatt Manning
Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution
Terry is a retired Auditor-in-Charge for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Office of Inspector General where he specialized for over 20 years in reviewing hospital administration and construction projects undertaken by the VA. He and his wife Ginny live in Lilburn in Gwinnett County.
His favorite pastimes are duplicate bridge, genealogy, gardening, lecturing, and volunteering in activities of various clubs and service organizations. He is a Bronze Life Master in the American Contract Bridge League and a Gwinnett Master Gardener.
Terry is most active in the Sons of the American Revolution. He is a Past President of the Button Gwinnett Chapter and is Chaplain of the Atlanta Chapter. He serves in the State Color Guard and is a Georgia Society Past President (2009-2010). Terry presently serves as State Chaplain and State Chairman of the Education Committee. His present major projects are creating a database of all deceased members of the Georgia Society and increasing the value of the JRW History Fund with GASSAR Flea Market book sales to improve education outreach. He recently completed a project to establish Traveling Trunks in each chapter wishing to become more active in education outreach.
